ABOUT ME
It is an honor to have walked with my clients in their times of discovery and growth. As a therapist I am committed to serving clients by partnering with them in working towards healthy change, development and growth. This will involve exploring thoughts, feelings and behaviors and taking action to achieve positive change.

My approach is intuitive, client centered, and compassionate. I practice a variety of acceptance and mindfulness practices that are evidence based treatment modalities tailored to meet my client's needs. These types of modalities include: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Informed Art Therapy, Yoga Therapy and Sensate Focus.
I offer an empowering non-judgmental approach to help clients begin the transformative process towards personal growth.
My areas of specialization include the treatment of mood disorders, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, psychosis, addiction, compulsive disorders, family conflict, mood and anxiety disorders.

I have worked in residential facilities, Assertive Community Team (ACTT) ( emergency mental health crisis work), and outpatient mental health/substance abuse clinics. I have provided individual and group therapy primarily to adults, but have worked with adolescents in an intensive outpatient setting. I currently provide individual mental health counseling to adult men and women in an outpatient mental health clinic. My areas of interest in counseling are trauma, PTSD, and mood disorders, but I also have experience working with substance abuse and severe and persistent mental illness.
